Hazal Sezer

I am an applied microeconomist with a research focus on Labor Economics and Economic History. My recent work includes investigating the effects of coerced labor on the formation of early labor unions and examining how automation contributes to the decline in unionization.

Between January and July 2022, I visited Harvard University’s Department of Economics.

I visited the Department of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Fall 2023.
